We and Us refers to Tail-Swishing and our staff.
You, your and the customer refers to the person whose name appears first on the order form.
No contract exists between you and us for the sale of any goods until we have received and accepted your order and we have either received payment in full (in cleared funds) or in some circumstances we accept a deposit as part payment for our freehand design work to be carried out. Once these are satisfied, there is a legally binding contract between Tail-Swishing and you, which is then subject to these Terms and Conditions.
All personalised orders (unless specifically not requested) will be subjected to an acknowledgement of order, which will be sent via e-mail when you place your order, this is done in order for you to double check your order and all personalisations you have submitted to us.
The contract is subject to your right of cancellation (see below).
Description and Price of Goods
The description and price of the goods you order will be as shown on this website at the time you place your order.
Our specials are usually advertised for one calendar month at a time, from midnight(London GMT) on the first of the month to midnight(London GMT) on the last day of the month. However their may be times when specials are added or removed without prior notice during the calendar month. We advice all our customers to check our specials regularly.
All our products are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the resources required to process your order are not available, we will inform you as soon as possible and an alternative will be offered, however a full refund can be requested for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from you for the goods, should an alternative not be suitable.
Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on our web site are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If we do not receive an order confirmation within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you cancel, we will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods.
All prices on our website are shown in GBP £Sterling.
Payments shall be made by you without any deduction or discount unless authorised by The Director of Tail-Swishing.
Payment
Payment for goods can be made by any method authorised by Tail-Swishing at the time you place your order. Payments are due before the delivery as there can be no delivery of goods until cleared funds are received.
Back Order
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you, please note that you will always be emailed of this occurance and if after 7 working days you item is still not in stock you will be given an alternative options to cancel or to select an alternative product.
Value Added Tax
All prices stated on our web site are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate.
Proof of specially requested designs order completion
NB = This only applies to bespoke, specifically design products NOT items from our online store*
Unless you specifically request not to receive one, we will send you a proof for order completion (this is automatically defaulted for email, however upon request it can be by post) to make sure your design is exactly how you want it.
Always double check details to make sure all the information we receive is correct, as we are unable to rectify mistakes after printing.
The checking of the proof is the responsibility of the customer. We require written confirmation that the proof is correct or that amendments are required.
Printing will not take place until the customer confirms a correct proof with Tail-swishing. Please note that all e- mail confirmations are automatically dated and filed.
Design and Print Times of specially requested designs*
After receiving your order (or approval of the proof for specially requested designs) -
We will strive to complete your order within 7 business days.
However Order times may vary depending on our work load, and quantities ordered. If in any doubt or if you require a quicker turnaround then please contact us prior to placing any order.
Please note: All seasonal orders will be processed and dispatched in accordance with published postal instructions in respect of recommended postal dates as detailed by postal carriers - for further information relating to this please email us on questions@tail-swishing.co.uk
Whilst most bespoke orders are completed within 7 days, there may be times where an order is unable to be completed within the designated turnaround time in which case a member of staff from Tail-Swishing will contact you and offer to renegotiate a new completion date or if this is deemed unacceptable to offer a full or partial refund dependant on the circumstances in which this situation has arisen.
If a quicker turnaround is required we must be contacted prior to ordering, as we will endeavor to meet our customers needs wherever possible. Although it must be noted this will obviously incur additional charges set by Tail-Swishing.

Postage & Delivery
For UK orders we ship using either Royal Mail First Class Mail or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.
However on request we can use Royal Mail Special Delivery (an additional fee may be applicable for this service).
For outside the UK we use standard Air mail, which generally takes around 3 days to Western Europe or 5 days to the rest of the world.
Any goods ordered will be delivered to the address given when you place your order with us.
If delivery cannot be made to your address for reasons under our control we will inform you as soon as possible.

Ownership
Ownership of the goods shall not pass to you until Tail-Swishing has received in full (in cash or cleared funds) all sums due to it in respect of: the goods ordered, and all other sums which are or which become due to Tail-Swishing from you on any account.
Cancellation
Any cancellations made after processing any order but prior to shipping will incur an administration fee of 15% to cover Tail-Swishing costs and re-stocking of the items in question.
Your right of Refund
We have a 14 day return and refund policy. Should you wish to return your goods please send them back in their original condition and packaging for a refund, stating clearly the reason for refund? All of our designs (whether personalised or non personalised) are designed, printed and assembled to order therefore we are unable to provide refunds for unwanted stationery.
If your goods are damaged, defected or you have any other complaint you must notify us in writing via email or by phone as soon as possible, but in any event within 7 days of the date you discovered or ought to have discovered the damage, defect or complaint. we can offer the option of a replacement or at our discretion a refund may be offered. If you need the order replacing urgently then, again at our own discretion, we may send out replacement goods prior to receiving the faulty or damaged goods back.
Tail-Swishing will endeavour to rectify any issues arising to the best of our ability.
Importantly any amendments that the customer requires after printing has commenced will result in additional charges. However any errors on the part of Tail-Swishing will be rectified at our own cost, although the stationery in question if requested must be returned to us with written notification of the fault or damage.
(Postage costs will only be reimbursed to the customer where the fault lies solely with Tail-Swishing)
Refunds of defective goods are always refunded in full regardless of payment method.
For refunds of unwanted goods, the return shipping will not be covered by Tail-Swishing and remains the responsibility of the customer. Additionally,
Payments made via PayPal will incur an administration charge of 3.4% + £0.20 GBP in accordance set within PayPal's own terms and conditions.
Complaints
Tail-Swishing prides itself in delivering what we consider to be excellent value for money along with a high level of Customer Service. With this in mind we also recognise that it may not be possible to completely satisfy all customers and potential customers all of the time. This is why we have created a specific Complaints Process which is available for anyone who may have reason to seek further clarification or to voice any concern associated with any aspect of Tail-Swishing.

Limitation of Liability
Tail-Swishing total liability, arising in connection with the performance or contemplated performance of this agreement shall be limited to the price paid for the goods ONLY. (This does not effect your statutory rights)
Materials
Paper, Card and/or materials may differ slightly from those pictured, as the quality of the web images are not always comparable with the true products.
Card dimensions given are approximate and there may be some variation between batches of cards.
If additional items are requested at a later date they may not match exactly and so if this is important, please ensure you order plenty of stationery now. This applies with all types of batch printing and importantly is not a compromise on the quality.

Online Competition
- To win our monthly online competition, you need to correctly answer the questions and submit your answers via the online form, registration is not required to enter our competition.
